Ok, my day started out with only minor bad luck. I was attempting to get a pack of peanuts out of a vending machine when they got stuck. It was like 75 cents down the drain.
Then after I was done with my live report at the Harris County Health Department Monday afternoon I learned the news photographer lost his keys. We had to sit outside of the County building until someone in the newsroom could bring us the spare set. On top of that the thunderstorm moved into our area and by the time I got to the station you could squeeze the water out of my suit.
When I finally made it home I thought I was safe from the Insite curse. Remember the dog doo doo last week. Anyway, while working out at the gym my eye became irritated. When I made it home and after a few rubs it looked as if I'd been beaten in the face with a sack of old nickels.
I've purchased some eye wash to see if that helps. But if it weren't for bad luck, the Insite wouldn't have any luck at all. Wish me some good luck!
Ok, Isiah that eye looks pretty bad. I know you are going to the ophthalmologist on today. You probably scratched your eyeball. Also, stop getting in fist fights that you know you can't win. You are supposed to 'duck'. LOL.
ReplyDeleteAwww, GOOD LUCK INSITE!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you can read this...and, if the eye does not clear up quickly, get your keester to an eye doctor. Don't risk a serious infection.
ReplyDeleteI used to fix vending machines when I first moved to Fairbanks, AK back in the Alyeska Pipeline days. I sure know the frustration, but if you had called that number on the machine, they refund the loss. They need to know when the machine is ripping off the customers.

It might be allergies. My eyes do that this time of year from all of the grass and tree pollen in the air. Were you sneezing too?
ReplyDeleteTry some witch hazel. It's good for swelling.
