MORE THAN 20 YEARS IN THE NEWS BUSINESS!The Insite would like to recognize a dedicated reader who has also helped spread the word about the blog in Houston. That reader is KTRK-TV 13 Chief Photographer Bernard Francis. Francis says he reads the Insite as much as he can. The hard working photo journalist has been in the news business for more than 20 years. He says he chose the profession because he's a people's person. The award winning photographer was appointed the chief at ABC 13 just last year after management recognized his skills in leadership. Hey Bernard, thanks for dropping by the Insite!
And Bernard is a real sweetheart. Friendly to everyone. One of the most genuine people I've ever met.

I am also a dedicated reader of "The Insite". On occasion, I have been in the presence of Bernard Francis and find him to be a man dedicated to the profession which he loves and does so well. Congratulations Bernard!

ReplyDeleteBTW, as someone who has been the reader of the week, let me warn you - the press will be relentless! You get several calls a day for interviews, you get quoted on CNN, Fox, and all the local networks, and people will stop you on the street wherever you go! On the plus side, I've managed to get free drinks at a dozen different bars around town!
Well, not really - nobody knows who I am, and I still pay my own way. But, congratulations anyway!
