WHY DO FAST FOOD JOINTS EVEN HAVE THAT FIRST WINDOW!

SHOULD THERE BE ONLY 1 WINDOW?

If you've pulled into a fast food drive thru it's likely you've noticed it.  That useless first window tends to be nothing but decoration for the business.  There's always some sign indicating we should drive to window #2.  Why even create window #1 if you're never going to use it.  There are some rare occasions when there is a lunch rush and that dormant first window is used.  Do you think all restaurants should just get rid of that irritating and useless window #1.  The Insite would like to hear what you have to say about this!

mexico isn't the only country that speaks spanish 90% of south america and even parts of europe speaks spanish. the reason why there is a spanish translation is the same reason why if you went to a foreign country they have english tanslations next to their own native language signs, so you don't look like a dumbass trying to figure out what it says. ever do any traveling? there's english translations everywhere, you think those people are saying, this isn't america why are there english translations. This is Houston, get used to it, In another generation get ready to be the minority. -a chinese guy

as for the drive 2 drive through windows....have you ever been to a drive through that actually uses both windows? notice the efficiency and speed, also cleanliness. if the the first window takes your money and gives you change etc.. she never has to handle food and money at the same time. she just has one simple task take your order and take your money. the people can just get the food and focus on speed and accuracy. thats the ideal situation for a busy restaurant. if it's a lower grossing restaurant. they may not feel the need to utilize the extra window let alone pay for uneccesary man hours. One well trained worker should and usually can handle it on there own.

  4. Hey brainiac, those signs are translated for 'travelers' and you
know it. Enough lame excuses for bending over backwards to cater to
    illegals. We've had enough.

The first window is for the person to take your money...the second window is for the person to give you your food and drink...i like it that way because i do not want anybody handling money putting their hands on the ice scoop/drink dispenser...

  6. The Mickey D's by my house has 2 windows. You give your order face
to face to the person working the
first one. I don't really care for that because you can't check the
computer screen to make sure they got it right like at a regular drive thru.

    Hey USA1,

Spanish speaking people don't travel? Everyone that speaks and reads spanish is illegal?

There are signs all over this great land that are in countless languages to help out tourist, visa holders, green card holders, and ILLEGAL immigrants. This is a sign that the United States of America is the greatest place on earth.

By the way, mistachang was not insulting you or your point of view. I don't see any reason for your pointless insult.

  8. If you think all these Spanish signs are for travelers there's a bridge I'd like to sell you. When do you
want to go look at it?

  9. If you really think that sign (and all of the other Spanish language signs and billboards) is to aid travelers, there's a bridge I'd like to sell you. When do you want to
    go look at it?
