I got a rude awakening from some Houston firefighters on the east end of town Thursday. My photographer and I went to station 41 where a noose was found in a Captain's locker back in January. There was a press conference addressing the issue in Houston today. We were in front of the facility to go live at 5pm. Usually, the firefighters are friendly and even come out and greet you. That wasn't the case this time. In a highly unusual move the fireighters at station 41 actually shut their doors on us. They even brought down the garage like doors. It was like no one was at home. I wanted to say, "but hey, I'm the Insite." I think they would've responded, "so what?" Just a day in the life of the Insite!

HEY, BUT I'M THE INSITE!

That is really disturbing. These are people in charge of public safety.
ReplyDeleteThey didn't feel like answering questions about false accusations from racebaiters in the black firefighter's group.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if relatives from outlaws
in the old west get 'offended' when they see a rope tied in a hangman's noose knot? Hmmm
