PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA RESPONDS TO BP OIL SPILL CRITICISM!

MY ADMINISTRATION HAS BEEN INVOLVED SINCE DAY ONE!

President Barack Obama is addressing criticism the federal government has dropped the ball in handling the oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico.

The President says BP is being held responsible and will pay for the damage. He says those who think his administration was slow in responding don't have the facts.

Obama also says Americans can help by visiting Louisiana to keep the state's tourist industry flourishing.

The POTUS says he's moving quickly to make sure another oil catastrophe like the one still uncapped off the coast of Louisiana doesn't happen again.

Mr. Obama says from the day the oil spill began in the Gulf of Mexico the federal government has been leading the effort. Obama says, "BP is operating at our direction."

Some of the President's actions today included: suspending planned exploration of two sites in Alaska and suspending the drilling of deep water wells for 6 months.

This comes as Obama launches a commission to look into the BP oil spill in the Gulf...Obama ended by saying we need to invest more in clean renewable energy.

  1. This is truly Obamas "Katrina" its been 34 days and now were getting the response.. Bush really took it on the chin for being in Crawford 2 days after the hurricane.
Then the ironic part is just Wednesday Obama was in California on funraising for policical candidates at where? the Getty Mansion whom are famous for what? OIL!!

Its just doesn't look seem believable the largest spill since Exxon Valdez.. No one can really justify his actions
