DON'T BE FORCED TO SPEND MORE THAN YOU NEED TO THIS BLACK FRIDAY!

STAND UP FOR YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS!

I refuse to spend a minimum $5 when using a debit card and you should too...If a business requires you to do that you should then immediately report them to Visa or MasterCard because it's against both card companies policy to require a minimum charge from a Visa / MasterCard user. Don't be a victim!

The new law put in place by Congress in October 2011 limits and or reduces the amount banks can charge retailers from debit and credit card swipes.  Yet some retailers continue to require a minimum purchase amount at their stores.  Don't pay it take take your business elsewhere!

  1. In the past, when I tried to combat the minimum, the clerk looked at me like I was crazy, and wouldn't let me purchase anything unless it totaled $5.
Then, when I called to report, they didn't even know what I was talking about and told me I had to call my bank. Just a bunch of circles!
