MAKING THE MOST OF THOSE IN THE FIELD OF JOURNALISM!












Dozens of people turned out for HABJ's Making the Media Work for You seminar at Texas Southern University Saturday. The event was designed to help those who are hoping to get their stories, ideas or clients into the mass media. The day began with a panel discussion that included the Insite, Marcus Davis, Cindy George, and HABJ President Mary Benton. Later the seminar broke off into several smaller workshops where individuals explored such topics as Public Relations and Social Media. Some of the people who attended included Mishka Helps, Misty Starks, Kimberly Washington, Crystal Brown Tatum, Sherea Cary, Mary Benton, Marcus Davis, Cindy George, TSU's Dr. James Ward and the list goes on!
