The Insite hears Houston City Councilman Jarvis Johnson was arrested late Wednesday night. The charge is attempting to evade police. Sources say Johnson was in a truck with his wife when he attempted to run from police. Those on the scene would not say what the original stop was about. One cop on the scene was quoted as saying you definitely want to follow up on this one Thursday. Johnson's wife was allowed to drive his truck home. A Houston news photographer also claims investigators on the scene attempted to block him from getting video of the Councilman in the back of a patrol unit.
