MAKING THINGS RIGHT FOR LITTLE JOHNNY!

HE NOW HAS A NEW SKATEBOARD TO HIT THE STREETS!

Ok, his name is not really little Johnny - but it would be cool if it was. I was driving down my street last Saturday evening when I realized I ran over something. My neighbor was standing outside of her home so I couldn't just drive off. I asked her nervously what did I hit and immediately a kid standing next to her said it was his brother's skating board. He then said don't worry about it. I apologized and my neighbor told me she's warned the neighborhood kids about leaving their skateboards out in the streets. She also told me don't worry about it. However, I felt crappy that I'd just stolen a kids joy. So, being a good neighbor I decided to go to Walmart and get little Johnny - actually little Aidan a new skateboard. When I gave the new board to Aidan's brother Sunday morning, he rushed down the street to take it to the new owner. I thought that was that. Then when I came out of my house a hour later there was little Johnny - ok, little Aidan - but Johnny sounds better. He had a note in his hand thanking me for his new skateboard. I really felt good about making things right with little Johnny - ok, ok, little Aidan. Skate on neighborhood kid!
