REMEMBERING VONDA HIGGINS!For the last two years the Insite has brought you periodic updates on former Houston police officer Vonda Higgins.
I'm sad to report the former narcotics officer who was left paralyzed in 1998 has died.
The Houston Police Officers' Union Executive Director Mark Clark writes:
Higgins passaed away from injuries related to a major traffic accident on August 30th. Vonda was shot and critically injured in the line-of-duty while assigned to Narcotics back in 1998. Vonda...has lived the best she could for the past 12 years. She gave all she had to HPD and we grieve her passing!
