Harris County records show 18 year old Alberto Hernandez really wanted out of the Harris County Jail. Investigators say while he was being held on a theft charge, Hernandez attempted to escape from the county facility. What did he allegedly do? Prosecutors say Hernandez tried to unscrew the windows at the jail and make his way to freedom. The report doesn't indicate if he was able to even get the window off its frame. But we do know the teenager is now facing a new escape charge. After an examination of Hernandez's arrest report, it appears his birthday is only three days away on October 16th. Maybe he just wanted to get home and celebrate. It's clear that's not happening and now the soon to be birthday boy has another criminal charge and remains in the lock up!
