HOUSTON AND MONTGOMERY COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS OUTRAGED!

WAS THE JUDGE'S SENTENCE TOO LIGHT FOR THE MAN WHO LEAD COPS ON A CRIME SPREE?

The Insite hears police officers, deputies, and prosecutors from Montgomery and Harris Counties plan to publicly blast a local Judge Monday.

Law enforcement officials have identified that Judge to the Insite but I will leave that for their press conference scheduled for 11:15 am at the Houston Police Officers' Union in Houston.

Sources say the District Judge based out of Montgomery County gave a man convicted of a string of violent crimes a light sentence.

Police officers also say that man is a known illegal alien.

It was last March when 28 year old Moises Roman Mendez was involved in a convenience story robbery in Montgomery County.  Mendez also lead Houston cops on a chase and according to prosecutors tried to shoot HPD officer Shawn Freeman.

Last week that district Judge in Montgomery County sentenced Mendez to 42 years in prison for aggravated robbery, assault on a public servant, evading arrest, and or detention with a vehilce.

All the charges which Mendez pleaded guilty on are first degree felonies.

Deputies say the illegal alien could be back on the streets in under 10 years.

Once again the press conference is scheduled for 11:15 am - Monday October 18, 2010 at HPOU headquarters!
