JEROME GRAY LEAVES KPRC CHANNEL 2!

Sometimes when issues hit too close to home you have to sit still and keep your mouth shut.  That's what the Insite had to do for the last few months when it came to KPRC TV anchor Jerome Gray.  Unfortunately, Gray says his contract with KPRC TV 2 is not being renewed as the afternoon news anchor at the station.  It's an issue Gray now acknowledges along with management at the NBC station. It appears Jerome's last day at 2 will be November 18th.  The native of Philadelphia says he's hoping to remain in Houston with his wife and children.  Gray says because he doesn't want to move away from the Bayou City he will likely have to accept the reality he will no longer work in television.  Gray also says he just may have to reinvent himself to find another line of work. We wish you the best Mr. Gray!

  4. I as most was surprised to see you anchoring @ kprc. I thought for sure you were going back home. We kinda got use to seeing you with Ms.D. but we also were use to watching her w/another Mr.Bill, kprc has no idea what they are doing. First we saw Bill/Dom anchoring, then we see Kham doing the news, then you pop-up,kham is now a weather person,Bill n Ms.D.they only r put 2gether it seems if they have to be.The reporter is getting wore out(young lady), very strange chain of events over there. I GUESS YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO GO TO FOX? maybe you will be able to take Isiah Target shopping.lol. Best of luck 2 u n your family.

I like Mr. Gray alot, but getting hired at 170,000 a year while nobody else will get a raise for the next two years is ridculous.
