SOME ARE ASKING WHERE IS THE MONEY AT TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

WHAT:
Press Conference.

WHEN: Thursday November 18, 2010, 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: In front of the Barbara Jordan - Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs, Texas Southern University campus, Southeast corner of Tierwester and Cleburne Streets.

WHY: Texas Southern University has received almost a half a million dollars from the state legislature and federal tax funds for the preservation and digitization of the Mickey Leland and Barbara Jordan congressional papers. Documents reveal that a large portion of the funds have been misappropriated. Not one page of Jordan's or Leland's papers have been preserved or made available to the public with these monies. Leland's papers were donated to TSU by his widow 21 years ago. To this day they are inaccessible to scholars.

Jew Don Boney
, Associate Director of the Mickey Leland Center, is responsible for the every day operation of the Center and therefore culpable for this malfeasance. Boney has a long history of dishonesty, including violations of state election laws and filing unsubstantiated charges against Texas Southern University students. The TSU students had discovered unethical actions by high ranking TSU staffers. The students work eventually resulted in the firing of TSU president Priscilla Slade and the conviction and imprisonment of her top staffer.

Furthermore, since 1983, Jew Don Boney attempted to assist in the destruction of Freedman's Town and Allen Parkway Village, the 1,000 unit public housing complex that was eventually re-developed and saved for public housing tenants.

  1. I have never been a Jew Don Boney fan, every since he ran for office in District D for city council. He always seemed very sneaky and not upfront. They should launch an investigation. I wish Sundria Chase-Gray would have won his seat, she was a better candidate!
