FAMILY MEMBER: AN ARREST HAS BEEN MADE IN DAVEON'S CASE!

UPDATE: The Insite is still trying to get this confirmed from the Houston Police Department...but a family member of Dallas native Daveon Collier says an arrest has been made in his New Year's eve murder.  Unfortunately, Collier was found stabbed to death in his Houston apartment at the beginning of the year.  It was this afternoon when HPD detectives reportedly called Collier's aunt here in Houston.  That aunt tells the Insite a man has been arrested in the case.  I have the suspect's name but I'll only identify him as a 21 year old who was allegedly a friend of the Houston party promoter for now.  The Insite attempted to get a response from HPD late Tuesday evening but was unsuccessful.  But I trust that family member and I will get official confirmation Wednesday.  Stay tuned and my best goes out to the family because the closure process has only begun.  By the way, Daveon's aunt says the suspect in the case has confessed to the murder claiming there was a heated argument and things went down hill from there!
