It wouldn't be Black history month without attending the Pillar of the Community awards put on by the Houston Educational Support Personnel.  The union holds the event every year and the Insite has had the pleasure of serving as the master of ceremonies for the last 4 or 5 years.  Here are some of the honorees this year: May Walker and Rev. Robert Jefferson to name few.  Thanks to Wretha Thomas and the crew for inviting me again this year.  Congratulations to all the honorees!
