A Katy-area pastor is being sued over claims he called a churchgoer an "adulterer" and an "agent of the devil."

Gbenga Funmilayo filed a lawsuit on June 22 in Harris County District Court against Katy resident Tai Olamigoke, individually and as pastor of RCCG House of David, citing libel and slander.

Funmilayo says that over the past several months, Olamigoke has embarked on a campaign to sully his good name by, among other things, telling church members that Funmilayo committed adultery, warning others to steer clear of him as he is an agent of the devil and having the police forcefully remove him from church grounds during a Bible study meeting.
