MADISON HAS A NEW FOOTBALL COACH!

Pat Reinecke has been named to the position of Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator at HISD’s Madison High School replacing legendary Coach Ray Seals, who announced his retirement in June.

Coach Reinecke is homegrown talent having served as an assistant head football coach under Coach Seals for the past 10 years. Principal Sonja Williams said, “Mr. Reinecke has earned the respect of his colleagues, his students, our parents, and the community. He had some big shoes to fill, but I am confident he is up to the task.”

“Coach Reinecke has the skill set necessary to take the Madison Marlins to the next level,” said HISD Athletic Director Marmion Dambrino. “He is truly dedicated to the program and student athletes at MadisonHigh School.”

During his career, Coach Reinecke has also been an offensive line coach, head power lifting coach, head boys soccer coach, junior varsity baseball coach, and the head coach for a European semi-pro football team.  He has also served as a site supervisor for the NFL Texans Youth Football Camps and the Texas Regional Director for NFL High School Player Development Program.

Coach Reinecke’s peers have recognized him as HISD Assistant Coach of the Year four times, including this year, and in 2006 he was recognized as Man of the Year by the Houston Coaches Association.
