PET OWNERS IN SUGAR LAND BEWARE OF THE HAWK ATTACK!

Poor Tucker was attacked by a hawk in Sugar Land

It's truly a sad situation.  A Sugar Land couple says their small family dog was brutally attacked by a hawk - that's right a hawk - in their residential neighborhood.

His name is Tucker and it took thousands of dollars to get him back on his feet and sewn up by a veterinarian.

The family wanted to warn the public because the last thing they expected was having their dog attacked in a residential area by a hawk.

They say their vet told them attacks like this are rare but they can happen and that's why you should be careful about leaving your small pet outside alone.

Here are some pictures of Tucker they have provided.

Make sure you protect your animal because you never know when a bird of prey will strike.

It's rough out there for a chihuahua!
