Truck load full of toys

If you thought Santa Claus traveled only on a reindeer powered sleigh during the Christmas holidays then think again.

Jolly old Saint Nick showed up early Wednesday morning at the Children's Assessment Center by squad car.

Santa was also escorted by Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia.

The two dropped off a truck full of toys for the center where young people go after being victimized in some way.

These gifts will truly bring a smile to the faces of the young people.

This has been an annual event for the Harris County Sheriff's Office for 17 years,

Sheriff Garcia and Santa were accompanied by more than a dozen elves and helpers who also have side jobs as deputies and jailers.

The grou unloaded the truck filled with games, bikes, dolls, and much more.

I'm sure some kid will be left with a smile from ear to ear after getting their gift from Santa and the Sheriff!
