The excitement is mounting for the beginning of the new season for Houston’s newest sports team. The Houston Lady Panthers are looking for athletic woman to fill out its talented roster. Houston sports fans are among the best in the country and the Lady Panthers are proud to bring professional full contact female football to the Bayou City.
Player tryouts will be held Saturday, January 7th from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kicks Indoor Soccer & Gym located at 611 Shepherd Dr., Houston, Texas 77007. This will be the last opportunity for talented women to become a part of this exciting new venture.
The Houston Lady Panthers are members of the Sugar N Spice Football League. Other teams in the league include the New Orleans Babydollz; Texas Cowgirls (San Antonio); Corpus Christi Mermaids; Austin Angels; Laredo Roses; McAllen Mystics and Kansas City Tease.
The Lady Panthers are coached by former NFL players Shantee Orr and Dwayne Ware.
