CONDOLENSCES TO THE FRANCIS FAMILY!!!!!

NUMBER 12 GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!!!!

Condolensces go out to the family of USC basketball player Ryan Francis. The 19 year old Baton Rouge, La. native (The Insite's hometown) was shot and killed there while visiting for mother's day weekend. Francis was one of the star players at USC who's life ended much too early because of senseless violence. Police say he was shot and killed by another 19 year old at 3 in the morning. According to investigators Francis stopped at a red light in Baton Rouge when an occupant of another car got out and open fire. Francis was one of the many young athletes mentored by the Insite's good friend and high school classmate Patrick Green. Green is also responsible for successfully guiding University of Houston stand out and high scorer Oliver Lafayette who is currently in Baton Rouge visiting his mother while on summer break. Francis was a resident of the Glen Oaks subdivision (The Insite's Old Neighborhood) where he excelled in athletics for his high school. My best goes out to the Francis family in this very tough period.
