IN THE LINE OF DUTY: TV REPORTER ARRESTED!!!

ROBERT ARNOLD WILL GET THE STORY!!!!

Local Houston reporter Robert Arnold found himself arrested today while working on a news story. Sources tell the Insite Arnold, who's known for hard edge journalism, was investigating plant security when he found himself arrested. The charge is trespassing with a $500 bond. I'm sure management at Ch. 2 already has him out. Here's a copy of his trusty Harris County jail paperwork. This all happened in Pasadena and the Pasadena Police department was the arresting agency. Click to get a better view. Good Luck Robert!!!!!!!

If anyone was gonna go to jail during the May Sweeps it would be Robert Arnold. He's one of those aggresive reporters who pushes the envelope and that's a good thing to get at the truth.

    Ike,

I'm glad you were a class act in writing this blog post about the competition. By the time it hits the Chronicle they will spin it and make it a negative story. But you clearly just released the facts and showed compassion for your fellow journalist. Kudos to you.

It's a shame that more investigative reporters don't have the guts like Robert to take on the big guys and not be intimidated. We'll come and boycott KPRC if they don't pay your bond and legal fees.

    IC,

I am sorry, but I dont agree with the comments posted. No one is above the law. The story could have been told so many other ways. You could have talked with someone that works inside. They would know if there is a security issue. You could have pulled up to an outside fence and timed security - to see how long it took for them to arrive.., or if they ever did show up.. plus we all know you could just pull up to an perimeter fence and throw anything over it... not that hard. I don't know robert. he seems like a nice guy.., but in my opinion this is totally ch2 baloney. sensationalism at its best. Besides its been done before.. Is anybody tired of sensational tv? - anything new out there?
