MOVE OVER SNOWFLAKES HERE COMES KANSAS CITY BARBEQUE - AND IT'S RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!!!!
Congratulations to Rondrek Cowans who's about to embark on the adventure of business ownership. Cowans is in the process of opening his own restaurant in Baton Rouge, La. where he also lives. Rondrek has worked for the CBS and ABC stations in Baton Rouge. He's also currently serves as a photographer for NFL Films traveling the southern region covering every team from the New Orleans Saints to the Houston, Texans. Rondrek says his new restaurant will specialize in barbeque with a killer secret ingredient. He's not releasing too many details at this time. But the Southernite says the name of his eatery will be 'Kansas City Barbeque'. He's still in the process of gutting and remodeling the building he will call headquarters. The expected grand opening date will be Sunday June 11th, 2006. So after church Sunday make sure you stop by Kansas City Barbeque located at 1300 E. Washington Street in the B.R. Good luck Rondrek on your new venture. And make sure the Insite's picture ends up at the front of the business not back by the kitchen!!!!
