TERENCE FONTAINE CHECKS IN ON THE INSITE!!!!
If you don't know, you better ask. Terence Fontaine, pictured here with his wife Deidra and his daughter Courtney Ann, is one of the most effective people in Houston government. By nature, his job is to quietly work behind the scenes for Mayor Bill White. But to anyone who has covered City Hall they know the authority and influence the former commerical pilot has in city government. He spearheaded efforts that lead to millions of dollars in savings for the city while converting Houston's civilian motor fleet to hybrid cars saving even more for taxpayers in the Bayou City. If you watch city council on the Municipal Channel you'll see Fontaine standing only feet away from Mayor White as critical decisions are made in the lives of Houstonians. You can rest assured Fontaine had a role. He joined Mayor White in the early stages of his political bid to become Mayor and now the family man enjoys the role as Deputy Chief of Staff in the White Administration. Terence Fontaine is The Insite's Houston Powerbroker of the week.
So this caused all the stir at city hall today! I say SHAME to those lazy reporters who sit around and wonder how 'The Insite' manage to get city hall stories and criticize what 'The Insite' puts on his blog.

Terence will never live this honor down. He was ribbed by everyone from the Mayor to city council members. Way to go Terence.
