If you're ever in Baton Rouge, La. the anchorman to watch is George Sells. He is probably one of the best anchormen in the country. The Insite had a chance to learn a lot of valueable and important journalistic skills from the veteran who has worked everywhere from ABC News in New York to KPRC in Houston. He's currently the main anchor at WAFB-TV. George is one of those anchors who actually is knowledgeable about the stories he reports on and if he doesn't know he will by the end of the day. His best advice to me was, Isiah weren't you there, then tell me what happened in 30 seconds after he looked at a five page script I wrote in my first week of reporting at WAFB. George shocked me in 1988 when he arrived in Louisiana and knew more about my home state than I did. Many broadcasters should strive to be as good as George Sells - The Insite's broadcaster of the week!
