CARL "THE NEW HAMMER" DAVIS HONORED AT THE A.C.E. AWARDS

I told you guys previously on the Insite just how powerful Carl "The New Hammer" Davis is - today here's proof. He was honored along with educators Edna Walker and Coach Oliver Brown at the 1st Annual Richard Allen A.C.E. awards Saturday June 3rd, 2006 at The Power Center. The honor is bestowed upon those who have made huge contributions to society. Davis' award was for his work in the arena of Political Awareness. The awards were put on by Wesley A.M.E. church headed by Pastor Leo Griffin. The Insite had a chance to attend the event with Angela Williams on Saturday night. "The New Hammer" received his award from newly elected state representative Borris Miles and was given special thank yous from Councilman Michael Berry and Grammy award winning singer Yolonda Adams. You can't beat that. Also in attendance was KPRC TV 2 reporter Mary Benton who got out before I could snap a picture of her. Congratulations "The New Hammer".
