WISEMAN VS. WHITE: I WON'T BE IGNORED!!!!!!
Houston City Council Member Addie Wiseman says she's had enough. Enough of the deaf ear she's been getting from Mayor Bill White. She says the Mayor has ignored her and her constituents in District E for nearly a year. So what's the issue? Wiseman says there has been an ongoing problem with illegal drag racing in the 1000 block of Edgebrook. Neighbors say the racing on Wedneday and Sunday nights has been a major problem. Wiseman says all she wants White to do is call in HPD and ask them to monitor the street for her constituents. She says so far no one in the mayor's office has returned her call or even responded in an email. Here's a copy of the last email Wiseman sent to Mayor White back in April. We hope to get a response from Mayor White's office in the near future!!!!

ReplyDeleteits not just between the two of them, ultimatatley it hurts the residents of wiseman's district. i don't know if her claimes have merit, but no neighborhood should have to suffer just because two elected officials don't like each other.
ReplyDeleteI'd really like to hear the mayor's side to this because he and Wiseman are at odds all the time at city hall. But I'd hate to see him ignore Houston voters because of partisan politics.
