THEY HAD A GREAT TIME EVEN THOUGH THE INSITE SHOWED UP SUPER DUPER LATER!
The Insite can't help but apologize over and over again to the members of the American Association of Blacks in Energy. I was asked to serve as their emcee for their welcoming reception Wednesday night in Houston. Unfortunately, the Borris Miles story pulled me back into work and I couldn't make it until the very end. When I arrived all the members attending had already hit the dance floor. Boy, can these energy workers party. No one missed a beat at the event held in the Medical Center. This year's theme for the AABE national conference is "Advancing the Understanding of Energy . . . from local to global". The Insite had the pleasure of meeting several members in the short period of time I made it through the venue. On that list of members: Gilda Joseph, Dr. Bob Ford, Dorothy Reynolds, Nate Stevens, Xchelsia Bledsoe and the list goes on!
