MILES WAS PROCESSED AND ALLOWED TO GO HOME AFTER MAKING BAIL!

$1,000 BOND ON THE TWO MISDEMEANOR CHARGES!

The Insite was there as State Representative Borris Miles arrived at the Harris County Sheriff's Office Wednesday evening. Miles surrendered himself around 6:45 pm. He was indicted by a grand jury on Monday for 2 counts of deadly conduct. Prosecutors alleged the Houston businessman and lawmaker pointed a gun at two people at two separate events. His attorney Cornell Williams did not to address the allegations saying they will be handled in a court of law. Williams also said he and his client may talk publicly at a later date. Miles did not make any public statements at his processing that took about a hour. I wasn't behind closed doors but I would assume the state rep was finger printed and photographed while at the Sheriff's office. He paid a $1,000 bond and was on his way home!

Im glad we did not have to endure a Bronco chase. I thought we you have a warrant you stay much longer than an hour in jail while they make you "sweat it out"

I'm glad he did the right thing, because really thats all he can do is cooperate so that he won't have to endure any jail time. He should just plead guilty and get on with it, the sooner he puts this behind him the sooner everybody else will too.
