THE DANGEROUS CHAT LINE OUT OF BAYTOWN!

FOUR MEN HAVE BEEN ASSAULTED ACCORDING TO POLICE!

Several Houston men lured to Baytown to meet women through a popular telephone chat line were robbed, Baytown police officials said.

Baytown police say at least four men between March 23 and Sunday said they were assaulted and robbed after they agreed to meet the women they spoke to from the same chat line, according to an official police statement. In every scenario, the men said the men met up with two women but were confronted by at least three men who assaulted and robbed them.

The first incident occurred with two 17-year-old Houston men March 23 in the 300 block of West Baker Road, according to an official statement. The men said they went to meet the two females but were robbed at gun point.

One of the victims said he was robbed by six black men and, the other said he was robbed by four black men, according to the statement.

The next incident occured Saturday in the 3700 block Garth Road, according to the statement. A 45-year-old man said he met the two women and was confronted by three black males who assaulted and robbed him.

The victim told police one gun shot was fired, but the victim had suffered only minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

The third incident occurred Sunday in the 3100 block of Decker Drive, according to the statement. The victim said he was greeted by two women and confronted by three black men who assaulted and robbed him.

The women in all three scenarios were described as black, with one being thin and other heavy set. None of the victims provided descriptions of the men.

Any additional victims that have not yet reported this crime are asked to contact the Baytown Police Department at 281-422-8371.

  1. You know those chat line commercials you see on late night tv on channel 51 or other channels are not comming out of baytown, but you just have an unfortunate situation in which some people who just happen to live in that area is committing crimes by using the phone service.

    Just a reminder how dangerous it is out there, and remember to always meet in a public place.

    And no this is not an endorsement by me of such channels.
