GETTING RID OF NUISANCES IN THE COMMUNITY!

The Insite has learned Houston city councilman Jarvis Johnson is planning to tear down some old houses in Frenchtown that have been a magnet for crime. There are at least 4 structures in the historical area that have been targeted for demolition. This comes 2 months after the Insite first wrote about the terrible condition the Fifth Ward community is in. Johnson says in a press release this is just the beginning of a long term plan to address the problems in the community. The demolition will take place on April 7th. My hat goes off to the councilman and Neighborhood Protection for tackling this project which will bring some needed peace of mind to the residents in that area!
I knew ol Jarvis was working behind the scenes to get it done, Nice going again to one of the few REAL council men that is actually puts his boots to the pavement.
