THE PARTY KINGS RUNS INTO CHAMILLIONAIRE AND TANK IN ONE NIGHT!
By: Kalele 'Party King' Thumbutu - There was a sea of white at club Venue on this Thursday nights installation of Temptation Thursdays. Temptation Thursdays is held each and every week at the hot spot located at 723 Main in the heart of downtown. This Thursday was billed as the official after party for the "The Heart of the City" concert featuring Mary J. Blige and Jay Z. The event was put on by RMG productions. The Promotion team included Hollywood & Big Rob from Nexxtra Group, LA, Greg & Keith from Platinum Entertainment Group, Southern Press and Kandace from Glam Girls. It was also billed as an all white affair and the crowd definitely adhered to the dress code by displaying and flaunting there all white ensembles. The 11,000 square foot club was packed from wall to wall with heavy anticipation of good times, good music and celebrity star gazing all of which came in to existence. Early in the night, The GO MC, MC Qua was incredible and truly lived up to his title of MC (one that moves the crowd) by getting the seated, laid back, and docile crowd out of there seat and transforming them into a pumped up partying crowd that stayed on there feet and on the dance floor until the club closed. MC Qua’s enthusiasm and charisma was backed by sounds of DJ Statik and DJ GT. These two DJ’s definitely put in work Thursday night and kept the crowd moving and grooving by displaying their turntable expertise by jamming the hottest songs all night long. The musical entertainment did not stop there; the crowd was also treated to an impromptu mini concert, with performances by R& B singer Anzeo from making of the Band 4 and by R& B singer, songwriter, and producer Tank. Good times were had by all and the Party King can’t wait to be tempted again next Thursday. Faces in the crowd included Landis “LA” Dooley, Corey MO, Chamillionire, Candy “Marketing Queen “ Shaw and Lawrence Vessel of Project Zero Ent, Dave(Trill Clothing), David and Jermaine of 713VIP.com, Pink Townsend, Groove “Tha Funky Drummer”, Byron Lundy,PKT, Twank Star, Khinnidi, Greg Brown, and Taisha August to name a few!
