97.9 THE BEAT CAR SHOW IN DALLAS!

FROM ICE CUBE TO BUN B - THE PARTY KING GETS THE EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE!












By: Kalele 'The Party King' Thumbutu - 97.9 the beat radio station in Dallas hosted their annual car show this past sunday at the Dallas Convention Center. Thousands came out to look at the wide variety of cars on display that ranged from classics that first hit the road in the sixties to modern cars with candy coated paint jobs, tricked out suspensions, humongous rims, and booming stereo systems. As all car shows this event did not end with the viewing of the automobiles. There was also a star studded concert that took place as well. The concert included such artists as Plies, J Dawg, Slim Thug, WC, Gucci Mane, and Lil Twist to name a few. West Coast rap legend Ice Cube & Texas native Bun B were definitely crowd favorites as they performed their catalog of songs that go back at least 20 years. Whether the crowd came out for the cars the concert or both , good times were had by all! Yeeeeeeeee !
