The Insite has learned an intensive investigation is underway at the Houston Police Department. The Internal Affairs Division has been tasked with the job of finding an alleged sex tape.
Reliable sources tell me the tape purportedly contains video of a female ranking officer performing a special assignment on another ranking male officer.
Now, since this case is so sensitive the Insite is not releasing the names of the officers involved. But I will reveal the female officer allegedly had a relationship with the other officer before she was married.
Our sources say when the female officers current husband got wind of the videotape he reported it to internal affairs because someone told him the other officer allegedly allowed others to see it.
I hear internal affairs is talking with everyone in a certain division of HPD to ask if they've seen the tape. Once an officer is interviewed they're asked to sign documentation indicating if they've seen it and not to talk about again.
The officer who is allegedly in the video and showed it to someone is now the target of the HPD investigation.
That public servant was also told to turn over any photographs or videos he may have in his possession by IAD. No word if he has done that.
The Insite will keep you updated as this story continues to develop!
Note: The Insite called a spokesperson for the Houston Police Department. That person would only say the ranking officer was under internal investigation but they would not say why!
