BABS HEADS TO SCHOOLS TO VISIT STUDENTS!!!
Former First Lady Barbara Bush will visit Houston Independent School District’s Fleming Middle School on Thursday, March 23rd as part of her continuous commitment to education for all Houston area students and Hurricane Katrina evacuees. Mrs. Bush will observe both teachers and students while making a classroom visit and campus tour at Fleming. At a reception immediately following, the former first lady will address local Houston educators and encourage community business leaders to have a stronger presence in supporting schools and education. Mrs. Bush will also check on the progress of the Curriculum On Wheels (C.O.W) program donated from Barbara Bush through Ignite! Learning.
