This internal memo obtained by The Insite presents a serious problem for Houston Police officers out their protecting our streets. It reveals that Glocks 21 have had major problems with officers around the country. The guns have actually exploded in the hands of some officers. With that in mind should HPD pull the guns from officers who still cary them. The problem has been that most HPD officers purchase their own side arms and the Glock is an older model that has now been grandfathered in. But should the department tell officers who still own and carry them to retire the guns if they present any potential harm to the officers...
