DELAY DELAYS SPECIAL ELECTION FOR HIS SEAT!!!

Embattled Congressman Tom DeLay is not helping the governor call a special election to fill his seat in the 22nd congressional district. The Insite learns DeLay refused to send a letter of resignation to Governor Rick Perry on Friday which was required to call a special election for the Sugar Land politicians seat. A DeLay spokesperson tells the Insite he will not submit a letter of resignation until May or June. DeLay announced his reignation this week siting polling numbers showing it would be difficult for him to win again. DeLay is also under indictment in Travis county for election laws violations. Several of his former top aides have also been indicted by the feds over lobbying irregularities. We'll keep you updated.
