The Insite has learned Houston promotions king Geroge Durham owner of Horseman Promotions is in the early stages of launching his own record label. It will be called H-M Records. Associates of Durham tell the Insite his label will include R&B, rap and hip hop acts. Durham has been very successful at concert and club promoting in Houston and around the country. He currently owns the downtown spot Breakers 2. Durham who also goes by the name Horseman has been promoting for more than 20 years. And I'm told the label is really pushing the First Lady of The Label called Lady Nell. She's from New Orleans and she's a rapper. Lady Nell also has a photo shoot for the label in the coming weeks and a mixtape that will be released Memorial Day weekend. Meanwhile, Durham is entering a tough field in Houston that's already dominated by the likes of Swisha House and Rap-a-Lot but his associates say he can handle it, that's why he's called the promotions king.
