The Insite made a stop by the home of baseball superstar Andy Pettitte in Deer Park Wednesday. It was a huge house by my standards in an unusually modest community according to some. I hear Pettitte is not a showboat but a family man who's focus is on community and church. So his choice to move into a regular neighborhood and build his dream home wouldn't surprise me. When I arrived in the area I noticed there were at least two news crews from New York there. On that list: New York Daily News and New York Times. They calmly waited on feet behind me as I rang the door bell. When a woman inside answered the intercom system they got a bit excited. I think that woman was Mrs. Pettitte. She said Andy wasn't home and we left. The New York crews stayed behind desperate to get a word with the player who said he would talk publicly on Thursday in Florida. But despite what others say about the modest neighborhood, I thought Pettitte's house was cool and could be a candidate for MTV's Cribs!
It looks like a regular cookie cutter Mc mansion Isiah. The really nice homes Ive seen were in the heights and in River Oaks.
ReplyDeleteThis house could have been placed in any neighborhood in Houston and you would not known how's it was.
