WAS IT A SIMPLE MISTAKE OR A CONSPIRACY TO TIE THE MEN TOGETHER IN VIEWERS MINDS?
Barack Obama. Osama bin Laden. Two similar names, but two very different people. So much so that mixing up the two has gotten one employee at NBC News in hot water. The network says it has reprimanded the employee who mistakenly flashed a picture of the terror leader on MSNBC as host Chris Matthews was talking about the Democratic presidential candidate. A spokesman for MSNBC calls the mistake "inexcusable." But apparently not unavoidable. CNN apologized last year for promoting the search for Osama with the headline: "Where's Obama?" A CNN reporter made a similar verbal gaffe on the air. And former GOP candidate Mitt Romney misspoke last October tripping over the names in a discussion about terrorism.
Okay yes I'm saying it, "They're both cute". Thats' the only thing they have in common
ReplyDeleteSmooches~
This is like the 2nd time a news organization has mixed the names of Barack and bin laden together.
ReplyDeleteI think the liberal media networks are staging some type of coup against baracks run away victories.
Media and callers to talk radios cannot seem to stop reminding us that his middle name is Hussein.
Remember Ted Kennedy got the two confused at a speech. It makes for great listening.
ReplyDeleteTrue Story - hand to the Lord - on a stack of Bibles: My older sister who works two jobs and hardly ever watches news, came home one day from working almost 24 hours straight. She was freaking out because some guy name Hassan Hussien bin Laden was running for President. Not knowing what she was talking about she said "and he's a black man". I said are you sure they said Hassan? She said yeah. And you know it was bin Laden and she was so adamant that it was. So I continued to pick her brain asking her questions only to find out that she found out that Barak Obama's middle name is Hussien. I fell on the floor and laughed hard (not purposley, but because she was so dayum serious). She was so mad. I broke down who Barak was, and what he stood for. I showed her his website, and she has been a supporter ever since.
