HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

DO YOU CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY?

So what is Cinco De Mayo you ask the Insite? It's the holiday that commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza SeguĂn over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. Do you celebrate the Mexican holiday?

  1. It's just another day to me, I
    don't celebrate small battle
    victories in central Mexico.

  3. Yeah its just another day, but a huge beer holiday for budweiser and Corona. THEY DON'T EVEN CELEBRATE IT IN MEXICO.

What if your hispanic and not from mexico? what do you celebrate. I know in New York, the Puerto Rico parade is HUGE!!! I Mean its a real celebration not just for Puerto Ricans but alot of people look forward to it each year.

I like St. Patricks day (JOLO's part Irish really) because of the Irish history and its contributions to this country.
