MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR HARLOW AND HOBBS!

SAYING FAREWELL TO THE MEN WHO RISK THEIR LIVES!

Two of Houston's firefighters were remembered this morning in a memorial attended by thousands of people. Captain James Harlow and Probationary Firefighter Damion Hobbs were killed while responding to a fire in southeast Houston. A public memorial was held at Grace Community Church for those who wanted to say goodbye. A private service will be held for the families of the two firemen on Friday!

I saw you reporting on this heartbreaking story today. It is journalists, such as you, that made sure this story was reported accurately. I don't know how you were able to report this story without choking up. But you did it well.

  2. thank you so much. I just added the piece to the blog. I am very proud of it. I wrote it and photographer Greg Ramirez did an excellent job putting it together.
