The show will air on The 950 (KPRC-AM, 950 AM) from 3-5p, and then 5-6p on NewsRadio 740 KTRH (KTRH-AM, 740 AM).
After media reports of tar balls washing ashore in Galveston, Galveston tourism officials became concerned that regional residents might cancel plans to visit the island.
In response, the Michael Berry Show wants to highlight the clean beaches in Galveston, and the many other fun things to do on the island, from strolling the Strand to dining out in great restaurants, to touring the historic architecture and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere for which the people are known.
