DID EVERYONE WHO WANTED TO VOTE GET TO IN HARRIS COUNTY?

The Insite received a call around 9pm Friday night.  It was from a worker at a statewide campaign.  That person said as of 9 there were still people in a long line at the Powers Center still waiting to vote.  I attempted to call the Harris County Clerk's office late tonight in hopes that someone would be there.  Unfortunately, after a long and busy week no one answered the phone.  I'm not quite sure what happens to those who were left in the line hoping to vote.  But I'm sure they will eventually exercise their civic duty by voting on election day November 2!

  1. That is sad to hear... I experienced the same problem on Thursday! I went to a location at Hilcroft and Bissonnet the line was over an hour long!

I called a friend that just voted and they said in their area they were IN and OUT. I went to the location close to them on W. Hardy and was out in less that 10mins (on the "busiest" day of early voting).

I wish the location in the predominantly Black area had a line that short.
