FORMER HOUSTON CITY COUNCIL MEMBER STOMPING AGAINST THE PLAN!

The Insite has been told former Houston City Council Member Toni Lawrence has stepped into the hot political battle over Proposition 1.

The measure on the ballot for November 2 would call for a new fee to address flooding and drainage issues in Houston.

I'm told Lawrence makes her appearance on robo calls against the proposition.

In the call Lawrence tells Houstonians not to support proposition 1 because there are still a lot of unanswered questions.

The former elected official also claims Mayor Annise Parker has refused to meet with those who are seeking details about how the plan will be implemented.
