After some research it appears the pastor is getting a fresh start.
Harris County court records show the charges of assault on a family member were actually dismissed way back in November 2010.
It was in January of 2010 when Dixon was accused of assaulting his wife identified as Tanisha Dixon in court papers.
He was arrested and later entered a not guilty plea.
However, Harris County Assistant District Attorney Donna Hawkins tells the Insite charges were dropped against the pastor at Community of Faith Church because he attended an intensive 16 week counseling program for family violence.
I hope that answers all questions for those inquiring minds out there.
The Insite attempted to reach Dixon but have yet to hear back!
