I'm no architect mind you but I know a cool building when I see one. And I don't think this is one of those buildings. While it may have cost millions of dollars and has super hi-tech gadgets inside, I'm no fan of the look of the new FBI building in Houston. It's located on 1 Justice Drive. I'm not quite sure if they're going for that Eco-friendly look or if they just wanted it to be green, but it's not that appealing to the eye. When you drive up it sort of looks like a work in progress but the facility is actually complete. In fact, there was a major grand opening this year. But I was less than impressed when I laid eyes on it. What do you think about the new FBI headquarters in Houston?

COOL DESIGN OR JUST PLAIN UGLY - YOU DECIDED!

I love it!
ReplyDeleteI think more people should be going for colors that compliment the landscape. Hopefully they have also gone for a white roof to reflect the suns rays instead of the traditional black which absorbs the heat ...
I would be interested to find out the reasoning behind the color chosen
I grew up in the neighborhood behind where this building went up, my parents still live there. It's hideous! What's that giant hash mark represent? Did they run out of ugly green paint??
