DID THIS BATON ROUGE POLICE OFFICER GO TOO FAR?

A police officer in the Insite's hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana has been suspended for 15 days.  That's after he was caught ob video tape pulling a woman from a ditch by her hair.  It happened last week near the campus of LSU.  The woman, Melinda Morris, says after her encounter with the cop she felt like trash.  She's since filled a lawsuit. The officer Robert Schilling has been suspended for 15 days without pay.  However, officials with BRPD say the woman hit the officer first and then fell into the ditch and in the officers attempt to get her out he pulled her hair.  The incident occurred after a motorcycle accident during a LSU game in Red Stick.  Records from BRPD show officer Schilling was suspended once before in 2005.  His punishment then was 84 days without pay because he was spending time at a woman's house while on the clock!

The Source for this report was my hometown tv station and former employer WAFB TV...Thanks guys!
