HEAVY HITTERS APPEARING BEFORE THE HARRIS COUNTY GRANDY JURY!

With their lips tightly sealed some Harris County heavy weights are making an appearance before the Grand Jury today in the probe into HPD's BAT vans.

So far the rooster includes Harris County Judge Ed Emmett and Commissioner El Franco Lee.

They've been called by a Harris County Grand Jury to testify in the ongoing investigation to HPD's breath alcohol testing vans.

There have been questions as to the reliability of the vehicles.

The jury also wants to know if a long time analyst of the van tests was terminated at the urging of the Harris County District Attorney and replaced by the Department of Public Safety.

Both Lee and Emmett refused to comment on the probe as they entered the grand jury chambers.

Commissioner Steve Raddack is also expected to appear before the panel.
